Our Cosmo hand knit baby vest is the ideal all-season layering piece. With shaped arms that provide plenty of room for squirming, plus three buttons for a secure fit, it's the perfect vest for all your little one's wriggly adventures!
The pattern includes details for knitting 0-3m sizes.
Yarn: Crucci 8ply Merino (or other DK / 8ply suitable to get tension)
Needle size: 4mm
Tension: 22st x 30 rows
Skill level: Intermediate
"Cosmo" is knit in one piece, from the bottom to armholes. From the armholes you will knit each panel separately and join up the shoulders with 3NBO. A link to an instructional video is included. No sewing involved

This is a very easy pattern to follow and would good in any colour. I like how it's knitted in one piece to the armholes and there's no sewing up if you can manage the method recommended for putting the fronts and back together.
Bought the pattern as I get prepared for winter knitting. Too hot here at the moment to knit. Looks like my type of pattern - not having to pick up stitches around the arms etc. A great pattern for community knitting. Vest type articles are what our community groups like. Thank you. ps I spent yesterday sorting out my wool box in preparation.
Have not made this one yet but have made the Nate vest which is very similar. Very easy instructions and a very quick knit.
