Our Story
Nana Anna NZ was born in 2020 from something beautifully simple — a small group of New Zealand ladies who love to knit, and a shared belief that every baby deserves something truly special.
What started as a passion project has grown into a little brand we're enormously proud of: handcrafted baby knitwear, made to order, one stitch at a time. Each piece is knitted by hand in our homes, with care, patience, and a whole lot of love woven into every row.

We don't do mass production. Every cardigan, blanket, vest, and hat is made to order — which means when you receive a Nana Anna NZ piece, it was made specifically for you and your little one. No two pieces are quite the same, and that's exactly how we like it.
Our knitters bring decades of combined experience to every project. From classic cable stitches to delicate lace patterns, each design is thoughtfully crafted to be as beautiful as it is practical — soft against newborn skin, warm through New Zealand winters and heirloom-worthy for years to come.

We believe the best knitwear starts with the best materials. That's why we use premium New Zealand merino that is exceptionally soft, naturally temperature-regulating, and gentle enough for the most sensitive skin.
